Front Office Assistant

  • General administrative tasks as required (such as updating Excel spreadsheets ordering supplies and arranging maintenance of photocopier/s)
  • Maintain student medical records in Synergetic
  • Mail (including email in and out and internal mail)
  • Management of lost property
  • Other tasks as required

Skills & Knowledge Required

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both adults and students
  • A warm, friendly and empathetic communication style
  • A current senior first aid certificate (which must be maintained)
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and to remain calm under pressure
  • Professional presentation and excellent phone manner
  • Sound administrative skills
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office Products and systems used for administrative purposes
  • Ability to work independently or in a team
  • Willingness to undertake a range of duties as requested
  • Hold a current working with vulnerable people card
